you are not allowed to defer enrollment to the uw

[May I Defer Admission? | Admissions | University of Washington](http://admit.washington.edu/drupal/Welcome/Transfer/Conditions/Defer)

You may not defer your admission to another entry term. The offer of admission is valid only for this quarter.

If you are unable to attend the UW at this time but wish to enroll for a future quarter, you will need to file a new application and meet all requirements and deadlines. More information about reapplying is available on the Admissions website.

Also: it took months (literally) for them to complete the revision for me. If your concerned ask them if they have an estimate on how long it will be. I’m sure the time is shortened/lengthend on a variety of factors

thanks travel girl,

currently, i am a student at uw. My husband got a different job with much less income that he used to earn, also we bought a new house and we are no longer can afford paying for tuition as i did in the previous 3 quarters.

oh! that’s right you are! i remember you. I don’t think it’s a problem to take off for a quarter. i would contact the registrar’s office to confirm and ask if there’s a process for it…but I do know people who’ve done it
