<p>Concurred. Also, if you’re earning any sort of income whatsoever, you’ll need to file a tax return by April 15th. Since half the numbers you need for the student’s part of the FAFSA come directly from specific lines on the tax return, completing both before March 1st makes the most sense.</p>
