Fafsa

So FAFSA informed me that my US citizenship was not verified by the Social Security Administration and so I sent a scanned photo of my passport to the school I’m pursuing to enroll into (Northern Arizona University). Will that allow me to receive the grants and loans that FAFSA is offering me or does that all depend independently by each school?

Fafsa will clear you for any funds that require US citizenship/residency. If you qualify for the PELL grant for low income families, that qualification comes from the EFC figure generated by FAFSA. You are also eligible for Stafford loans up to $5500 for your first year. The rest is entirely up to your school and possibly your state.
