You, the student, can take a $5500 Direct Loan in your name. Some colleges award low income students a Perkins Loan as well…usually $3000 or less. These are per year.
Your college will send you a financial aid award, and your loans will be included on there.
Am I only able to see my financial aid award for colleges that I have been accepted to?
You can only see financial aid awards once you have been accepted, and those colleges send or post your financial aid award to you.
