Fail at Resending Credentials?

<p>So it’s become apparent that my transcript and SSR didn’t make it to Stanford. I’ve been putting my email into that status checker once every 2-3 days, hoping that something would change, but I finally realized that nothing was going to and resubmitted the stuff to send them either yesterday or Monday (can’t remember which). I did this because I know my guidance office is pretty slow at everything and they want 10 days before a transcript is sent. I’m told they’ll get it out before we leave for Thanksgiving, which is pretty good for them.</p>

<p>Then today I checked one more time, just to be sure, and the email’s changed!</p>

<p>Before, part of it used to read:</p>

Restricted Early Action application materials below. Please understand that
given the extraordinary volume of mail we receive, it will take two to three
weeks for us to process and file all of the materials. If you see that an item
you have sent has not yet been processed, it is early yet, so please return to

<p>But I already resubmitted my stuff using mail, and even if I hadn’t, my guidance counselor would never be willing to fax something! Does anybody have any idea what difference is this going to make in my application? There’s nothing I can find on the website, so I’m going to email and ask unless the consensus is that I’m overreacting…</p>

<p>I hope all goes well for you wulfran. To lessen the worry, I think you should call the admissions office if possible.</p>

<p>Don’t worry about it too much, though. They’ve started evaluating but they aren’t going to be finished anytime soon and I can guarantee you’re not the only one with late materials, besides, you are a strong applicant.</p>

<p>If you’ve already sent them yourself you should be fine. I’d give it a week and then call in.</p>
