Failed a course

Hey all,

I just finished my freshman year at CAS, I took AN 101 to fulfill my requirements, but I ended up failing it due to various reasons.

I’m just wondering what the CAS policy is about retaking courses and how bad I am screwed at my chances of getting in a graduate school.

^ Ouch… What is this “reason” for failing the course?

It was a course that had no homework or quizzes, so the only grades are from exams and paper, I just ended up falling way behind and couldn’t catch up, it brought my gpa from a 3.10 to a 2.71

is that anthro 101? you can retake any course you want, but your grade won’t replace the F- it will just count as a normal grade with whatever you got and then earn you the credit it’s worth. Obviously, an F is not going to help your graduate school admissions, but there are places to explain things like this on the applications, but you may wanna figure out a better reason for failing…
