<p>Last year I studied at SUNY at Albany, and I got GPA of 0 for my first semester and I withdrew in the next one. (I wasn’t really satisfied with that college and I refused to go to the classes.)</p>
<p>So now I’m trying to find another college; more prestigious and private, if it’s possible.</p>
<p>I’m from one of the countries in the Central Asia. I studied in one of the best schools in my country, and have finished it very well (My GPA for all years of school was 4.0 and I got an honor for that).
My SAT Scores are 1770 and IELTS 7.5</p>
<p>Please, what could you suggest me to do and what kind of colleges I can apply? </p>

<p>GPA of 0 at SUNY Albany really really hurt you chance of attending any ‘more’ prestigious and private schools.</p>
<p>You need to enroll into any community colleges that have open admission; study hard for couple years and get a decent GPA. Only after that you may have a shoot at

<p>Not going to class shows that you’re not ready for a prestigious and private university. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t like them, you should’ve still went to your classes and you wouldn’t be in this situation, you could’ve transferred in the next year (depending on if they take you as a junior or sophomore).</p>
