So I’m currently a junior in high school working towards my associates degree. I’ve seriously been slacking my whole semester and I really hate myself for it. I’m pretty sure that I’m going to fail Math 171 (precalc) and I’m stressing big time about it. My GPA at the end of my sophomore grade was 3.6 unweighted and all my grades were A’s or B’s. Now I take all college classes except my high school class which is required by my college only. I see myself having all A’s and B’s by the time I graduate except for that one class I’m projecting myself to fail. After failing the class, I would have to take it over again the next semester and take the class that it replaces in the summer and I’ll still get my associates degree. How bad would this F in precalc look to colleges I’m applying to? I don’t plan on being a math major but I also don’t know what career I want. I do know that some colleges take admissions based on diversity, so I’m not exactly sure how much being a racial and sexual minority helps my chances
Can you withdraw from the class this semester? If so that might be an option.
I can’t unfortanely. The class ends in a month and plus my high school won’t let me withdraw from college classes without a doctors note
