<p>I live in Canada, and I took a course called Careers online during the summer in grade 9. I ended up failing the course with a 35, however it’s only a half-credit course. It’s probably one of the easiest courses in the curriculum but I slacked off a lot and didn’t hand in my work 
I will be taking it again this summer.</p>
<p>Will this deny me acceptance to any of the top universities? If the rest of my application is good enough to get in would failing this half-course matter a lot?</p>
