failing yet optimistic?

Ok so here is the deal, i started college at a community college did very well for taking 15 hours and getting a 3.75, immediately transfered to the university right by where i live. did very average to good at that university usually around the 2.8 range or so for the spring and summer semester. declared my major in the fall(bio) big mistake because i was being pressured into pickin something to ease into taking classes for my major. so i planned on minoring in spanish as well. well that fall and spring was a disaster because i was dumb and had my girlfriend as a priority over my education. (IDIOT) and plus was taking college algebra and what not instead of taking the remaining 2 remedial courses the first community college adviced me to takin in the beginning. so i was put in probation that fall, and in the spring i did just as bad. i transferred this fall to my community college, and WOW my financial aid took ages to get processed so i was bookless for about 1 month and a half. (especially for my college algebra and bio) and from then on i played catch up and think i may flunk again 2 out of my 4 classes. well i recently got accepted to another pretty big regional university and i plan on living on campus and declaring my major as spanish (4.0 12 hours) and they have me enrolled and wat not but the financial aid is waiting on my grades for this semester even tho they have already seen my other ones. i told them im not doing well this semester as well and they said they need to look but they didnt sound negative about it at all. so im thinking, will they give me financial aid? im taking 9 hours of spanish, 3 hours of microeconomics, and 1 hour of a college success class and living on campus for the first time this upcoming spring. knowing that i have a 4.0 in spanish and taking 1 hour of a college success course would this be sure appeal to financial aid because i know im not to their standards but i do know you can appeal in certain circumstances. (i have already spoken to financial aid believe me, so dont reccomend that)
