Failure is success if you learn from it.

This article refers to gardening- but I think it can be applied to other parts of life .

My rule of thumb is, you are allowed to make many mistakes, but you shouldn’t repeat them. ;)

My rule of thumb is that you will probably repeat your mistakes in one form or another UNTIL you learn from them. But, you know, it is what it is.

My rule of thumb is that anything worth doing is worth doing wrong - until you learn how to do it right.

The power of learning and having mistakes is that the experience stack up allowing you to developed “new roads of experiences” [I said that] until one day you have it right… also keep your brain healthy!

One of my favorites.

“The brick walls are there to show us how badly we want something” Randy Pausch

"The way to get good ideas is to get lots of ideas, and throw the bad ones away” Linus Pauling

I have a motto: If you haven’t made a mistake, you haven’t been doing anything. I have learned a TON from my mistakes.

I once heard a woman give a motivational speech and she listed all the things that had gone wrong in her life, then she said, “Let me give you the list of all the best things that ever happened in my life,” and she gave the exact same list. And why. Really amazing.

My d was taking a master dance class. Halfway through, the instructor stopped them and said, “How come I’m the only one falling? If you’re not falling on some of the things I’m throwing at you, it means you’re not trying!”

Mistakes are informational. Repeating the same mistakes is a problem.

~just my take.
