<p>I just got an email with my housing information as an attachment; I got a double in Birnkrant, which was luckily my first choice! Where did everyone get assigned?</p>

<p>So according to the housing website, I got a double in paradee all to myself. I was not assigned a roommate. I actually requested someone, but i have no one under the roommates section…odd</p>

<p>Hey can anyone tell me the difference between the Harris and University Residence in North? I got University Residence, is this the normal part of New/North that everyone knows? Its not some special interest thing right?</p>

<p>By the looks of it (thanks to no school tomorrow), i’ll be calling the housing office to see what’s up with my housing. I mean, as much as I would love a double to myself, I do want the roommate I requested for next year. Also, the only meal plan I could choose was cardinal. If I want to upgrade, I do that in the fall or when?</p>
<p>All roommate requests must be mutual - did the roommate you requested also request you? You are VERY unlikely to end up in a double alone - they will continue assigning housing as the weeks go by. The meal plan shown is the mandatory, default meal plan. <p>We both requested each other, and had the exact same preferences as well. One of my friends attending usc also requested a roommate, and had same preferences, but they were not assigned together.</p>

ok so i just got the email…it says im assigned to a double in pardee tower and to look at the “rooms” section on the website to view roommate info, but the same message is there. </p>
<p>what’s it all mean?</p>
<p>From the housing email: “Once you have confirmed your contract you will be able to view your current roommates”</p>
<p>So I think you have to pay the $400 before you can view your roommates.</p>

<p>is it normal for them to send out assignments in waves? i got my stuff in before the may 1st deadline (towards the end of april) and i havent received any information…does any former student know?</p>
<p>Son got first choice in Harris (North) with a sink. He got his roommate choice too (a friend from his high school). He is very stoked.</p>

<p>I got my 2nd choice: IRC 7person single. My first was 5person, so I don’t mind at all. It’s actually even cheaper this way. I’m VERY excited.
If it says IRC 2109A-1, does that mean I’m on floor 2, Suite 109, the first room?</p>
