<p>A suggestion for CC MT students entering college this fall, and their parents: </p>

<p>Knowing how very helpful the “Freshman Experience” threads are, let’s commit to posting ours in a few months, and even recruit others to do so. In the meantime, let’s use this thread to make a list of questions we should try to answer in our writeups.</p>

<p>Some of the things I wanted to know, just going into the process:</p>

<ul>
<li><p>How many males and how many females in the freshman class? Does that number and ratio seem consistent with the upper classes?</p></li>
<li><p>What is the range of experience the freshmen have? Do most of them have professional experience, or mostly high school only?</p></li>
<li><p>What is the daily schedule like?</p></li>
</ul>

<p>Might also be interesting to compare what kids are asked to bring (i.e., “The List”) and whether there are reading, performance, or other requirements for them to prepare in advance. </p>

<p>Thanks for starting this thread, Prodesse, and let’s keep it bumped so we don’t forget in a few weeks…when they are actually at school (gulp)!</p>
