My app says in review and also “complete” SO nervous

@rangers32 just sent my email too, let me know if you hear back!

Denied from my first choice: CNS for Computer Science
Accepted to Undergrad Studies
50 credit hours with a 3.5 GPA
No letters of Reccomendation
Okay essays (they really weren’t too good)
Transferred from UTPB
And I just got accepted this Tuesday

@Alexanderz did you have undergraduate studies as your second choice?

Does anyone know when CAP students will find out their admission decision? I have submitted all of the items that is required of CAP students. My status is “Your application for admission is complete” it’s been that way since last week.

@lc809070 yes, that was my second choice. once you’ve been accepted you have the ability request a major change so I’m going to see if I can try and change my major to Comp Sci.

@txgirl9457 Mine says “Your application for admission is complete.”

@oxb4331 I’m in the same boat as you… But I applied to a major outside of the one that are guaranteed.

@Alexanderz what classes did you take? and what did you get in calc? cause i kinda of want to transfer to Compsci/Comp E next year as a CAP students and regardless i have undergrad admission but was wanting to know what i need to get in?

Has everyone sent in their transcripts from the spring?

Mine is supposed to send today.

@txgirl9457 my thing still says “30 hours aren’t complete” even though I sent in my final transcript. Did you have to contact them to fix it? Or did you just wait a few days?

@jeffwinger I called them and they told me that they have to process the transcript first. On friday they had received the transcript and that “30 hours aren’t complete” message was there. On monday morning the transcript was processed and my application status said “your application for admission is complete” on monday evening around 7 pm i checked back and it said “your application for admission is in review” it has been like that since! I would give it a few days,if it isn’t changed by friday morning i would give them a call and ask whats up and if they could take a look at your file to make sure all 30 hours are there! Best of luck :)

Good luck everyone! If you have any questions, or just need some moral support, shoot me a message! \m/ If possible, whether accepted/rejected, post your stats along with your results!
So I had to drop my biology course, and received a C in pre cal. My GPA is a 3.55 and if I get an A in my maymester course then I will have a 3.6. I’m looking to appeal with this since this will complete my 30 hours. I have a valid reason for doing poorly this semester and I was wondering if y’all thought I’d still have a chance with an appeal. I’m really starting to worry

@Golfing7861 I got a response and they said they are focused on freshman getting contracts first and then transfer students will find out in June. Hopefully our top choices will still be available :-<

So I am pretty confused and have had trouble making my decision. I am currently enrolled at Texas State as a business management major. I would like to transfer to UT, but I don’t know what my chances of getting into McCombs are like. I just finished my second semester and have taken 29 hours, I am taking Calc 1 and Macroeconomics this Summer and Calc 2 and Microeconomics in the Fall. I would like to transfer to UT by Spring 2015. I currently have a 3.48 GPA. If I did well in the 4 courses I need to transfer and am able to pick my GPA up to the 3.6 - 3.7 range would that give me a good chance? If not, I am considering changing my major to either Economics or English and applying to COLA. Let me know what you think guys. Thanks.

When do the decisions for the people who just submitted their transcripts start coming out?

@damnlol1 Hopefully soon!

@Marchapa I think you can choose two different majors when you apply. You can choose business management as your first choice major and liberal arts as your second choice major. Even If you don’t get into McCombs school of business, COLA will review your application and you can possibly get into COLA. I don’t think 3.5 is good GPA to get into McCombs though… I heard even people with 3.8 got denied from McCombs.

Hello, i applied for a transfer and my CGPA is 3.86 with 50 credit hours. I completed everything except for the transcript (I had some trouble with my uni’s business office). Now that I have sent in my transcript, it says my application is complete, but when I email them the transcript department said it will not be reviewed since it’s late. Is there anything I can do? Is there still hope?
