@kaligleean‌ I am still unable to check how many of my credit hours have been transferred. In IDA tab, it says none of my coursework is completed and my classification was freshman. :frowning:

Now the real wait begins…it says my file is under review!
(stats: 3.5 Cumulative GPA, 3.46 Transfer. good res, 2 lors, lots of community service and good essays.)
I’m thinking of going through the appeals process if I don’t get in, but I’ve heard that it doesn’t work very often.
Anyone know someone who successfully went through the appeals process?

@damnlol1‌ this also happened to me. Just call UT and tell them to connect you with the registrar so that they can fix the problem.
When I spoke to the registrar she fixed the issue that same day for me.

@Alexanderz Thanks, I did call them and they fixed it. My file is under review now so the wait begins.
Stats: 3.721 GPA, 31 Hours
1 LOR
Pretty good essays
Classes: Cal 1, Cal 2, Chem for engineers, and some regular classes.
1st choice Engineer, 2nd choice UGS

@rangers32 exactly, they have no timetable on when to hear back. I’m considering emailing them on Monday if I still haven’t heard back by then. I just want to get everything set up ASAP so I can enjoy the rest of my summer lol.

Im going to be a CAP student next year at UTSA , was wondering is it easier to apply for transfer to Engineering from UTSA or take the auto admit to UGS then internally transfer to Engineering?

P.S i want to do Computer Engineering at UT

UT received my transcript but my status still says “your application for admission is complete except for the 30 hours needed” is this normal? happening for anyone else? anyone know how to go about fixing it?

@putnan AP credit should transfer. Please keep in mind that UT may require a certain minimum AP test score for the particular subject in order for it to count. Having AP credit that UT accepts can give you more transferrable hours in order to help satisfy the 30 hour minimum. Also, I am assuming that you have already sent in your AP scores when you were working on the transfer application.

@Dolzoo‌ To check how many hours transfer, you will need to use the UT transfer equivalency website to see how each class transfers to UT. If your IDA is not showing any courses completed, try contacting the office of undergraduate admissions. They might be able to find out what’s going on with the IDA tab. Please keep in mind that the reason why it says your classification is “freshman” is because every transfer student that transfers into UT is classified as a “freshman”. After your first semester, the system will automatically change your classification depending on how many hours you have.

For those of you already accepted, how long was your application “in review” for?

@JeffWinger‌ 10 weeks for me. I got accepted last Tuesday and sent in my app feb 27.

Is there a difference between your application being “Complete” and being “In review” ? As of right now my application states that it is complete

@Golfing7861 Did what you said and emailed them this afternoon. Hopefully they reply soon because my housing tab is still the same.

Accepted to McCombs!!
So ecstatic to be apart of such a prestigious program.
Had a 3.94 GPA, 62 hours.

@txgirl9457‌ I was wondering this same thing…

@123456B my status is now “your application for admission is in review”
