Thanks for all your updates. I applied for external transfer to McCombs and… UT received my transcripts on 5/21. My status changed to “complete” on 5/22 then to “Admitted” on 5/27 in the morning.

I have 31 transferable hours from ACC, 4.0 GPA, two solid essays (at least that’s my opinion), and 3 LORs. I’m also a veteran with a technical professional background.

Current college: University of Texas at Dallas
Current GPA: 3.97
College applied to: Red McCombs
Major:Finance
List extra curriculars: various
Number of letters of Rec and who wrote them: 2 letters of REC

I got accepted. I sent my transcript out on the 19th, they received it on the 21st, it showed complete and went under review on the 27th, and I got my acceptance the next day on the 28th. Hope that helps someone and Hook’ Em Horns!

@lilkukiri123‌ did you complete all indicator courses?

@txgirl9457 Congrats!

I believe that I did. I took Applied Calculus 1 and 2 at UTD so I don’t know if those are equivalent to UT’s Calculus 1 and 2. I do believe they are though. So yea, I think that I completed all the indicator courses.

@lilkukiri123 did you take micro and macroeconomics?

Yea I took those

@lilkukiri123‌ i went to UTD and was told applied calc 1/2 doesn’t fill the requirement for McCombs. So I took the advanced calc courses. I guess I was told wrong! Congrats though!!

My application went in review around 12 days ago, still no decision. Now I’m worried

Ahh, @oxb4331‌ I checked this evening and my page has also changed to in review. Fingers crossed for a fast decision!

@123456B‌ Oh, good! crosses fingers Good luck! Let me know how everything goes.

Slowly losing hope, I sent all my stuff in around the 12th and still no decision

Is having your application in review longer a bad thing?

@ras184‌ in the same boat! And yes I think it is

@damnlol1 i would say no news is good news because i know several people that have been denied this week!!!

@pewpew13 Absolutely not. If you look at the history in this thread you will see that plenty of people were in review for a month before they heard back. They are going through a lot of applications. Some people are lucky and hear back immediately, but most won’t. It just takes time.

Okay well I’m glad I had the wrong idea!

Just got off the phone with admissions, they said all decisions will be made by June 16th. They also said that if you don’t get the college of your choice they can offer you UGS
