@SavageWang I just checked the site at around 5:10 PM yesterday. I still haven’t gotten an e-mail. Did anyone who got accepted get an e-mail?

I think there was a lot of information Missing in my essay, so I might include the ec I didn’t mention. Also, the reason I chose ucla is because my second major is only, fully, offered there. They have courses that pertain to my specific occupation & major that other private art schools do not have.
One of my friends successfully appealed with the same uc stats and major as me.
She was missing a few classes from igetc and lower division/preq. She wrote something about devotion…

I’m picking the 1st theme Transfer Experience.
How serious is the essay they require for it? How many paragraphs?
Also for the room preferences, which ones should I select last and which ones do you recommend first?
Another question related more to SIR.
When it asks whether I have claimed myself as independent, is it asking for fafsa or taxes? Because I know for taxes I have done independent because i make more than my mom, but on fafsa i am dependent, because the schools claim you so unless you are over 24 years old.

What GPA do you need to maintain to be accepted? A lot of people seem to be asking this question.
My theory is, in order not crash any servers, they haven’t emailed anyone yet. This way, we all just trickle into the portal and nothing crashes. Just a theory. I’m sure emails are forthcoming.
So I got accepted to my alternate major, which was only possible through being tap certified. However, I’m currently working on my last honors class at my cc. If for some reason I don’t finish the honors program, will my admission be rescinded?

@Dilligince I am still pending and I did TAP. Don’t know what’s going on. Will the release today or will we have to wait until monday?
@SavageWang @Dilligince i don’t have TAP. i’m still pending too, me and another person who are pending have educational gaps and quite a few w’s on our transcript. I don’t think there’s any indication we’d even see a decision on monday. just by end of april i think
