@princessluna thank you for your reply! How do I go out about switching majors did anyone mention anything? I plan to go to the counseling office there this week.
Ok sounds good thanks for you help!
So you think its changeable/fixible to change your primary email? its not like one and done like your UCLA ID right?
Sure thing @Icj1994, and congrats!
@lcj1994 just send an email to UCLA and ask. Come on, 50 posts on this is overkill. You’re a big boy now.
@lindyk8 Hey! Haha I don’t want to mess anything up BEFORE I even am enrolled there haha! I’m just glad luckie was nice enough to help and make me feel a bit better about my mistake… didn’t know there were forum “rules” hah!
I’ll be there both PILOT day and Bruin Day!! Bringing my mom to Bruin day. Hope to see you guys there!!
I know everyone has probably seen both of these, but I thought I’d post just in case
UCLA Transfers Page: http://www.transfers.ucla.edu/
New Transfer Checklist: https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/NewBruins/NSG_Transfer.htm
Hmm, @lcj1994 well everyone told you they could be changed, myself included. Whatever. Five pages of asking where is your call, of course.
Have y’all been able to successfully register for pilot day? It doesn’t give me an option to do it.
Whats the deal with the immunizations… it just says review, are we supposed to get those shots or?
Hey everyone! I was admitted to UCLA as pre-Sociology, although I listed Business Economics as my preferred major. I’m from a four-year institution outside California, but I am a California resident.
I’m a business (finance)/sociology major at my school and OOS tuition is bleeding me dry right now. I know it says I can’t switch into Business Economics after I’m admitted, but is it at all possible to apply for it as a double / second major?
Note: I just realized I’m missing one of the prerequisites, MATH 31B, but I’ve taken some of the upper division courses and listed them on the UC app, and I still was accepted, but right now I would love to have a shot at doing both…
If anyone knows this I would love to talk to you.
@luckie1367 You have the patience of Job (Da’ Bible one…) :)>-
Ha, thanks for the note in parentheses, I would have had no idea what you meant!
I do my best to help out here, esp since there were people who helped me
no hard feelings @lindyk8 i just am really worried about it and was looking for a little guidance … that is all
I have a quick question, after I submit my SIR, is it still possible to not attend UCLA? There is no such as thing like other UCs will cancel my admission after I submit my SIR to UCLA right?
@jaxtransfer It seems as though you contact the specific department you want to transfer to by going into the office or sending an email. You could try the counselors too and see what they say!

@wlasm15 yeah, you can SIR and then decide not to go. But the $100 you pay to SIR is nonrefundable. Other UCs will not cancel your admission if you SIR to UCLA.
@wlasm15 no, they won’t cancel your admission. However, they frown on sending multiple SIRs to different UCs. Plus, you do not get your deposit back
