@apocalypso
Some may read rough drafts. Others won’t, from what I’ve seen.
They’ll definitely give you tips in and out of class on how to write good papers, and yes, you can approach them during office hours to talk about the material that you’ve read (hopefully) if you didn’t understand a part of it. Philosophy is all about having a dialogue with others about ideas and the professors here know that and approach their job that way.
Do you guys have any idea about how to change the official email address thing? I had to input my CCC one when doing my SIR but I’d like to change it to my ucla.edu now.
@nappysama i have a question… you know when you submitted your application? when you submitted it at november, was your gpa like 3.5? Because if so, what if at that term at december you received the fall semester final grades and then your gpa shot up to maybe 3.7? Will colleges see that as well? basically im asking if colleges will see what you’re doing up to before acceptance letters came out? thank you for answering my questions again!
Weird, I was taking shower about 10 minutes ago, and missed a call from 310-825-4321 at 9:06pm, called them back and it was from UCLA… and it says most offices are closed call back later.
I submitted my change of schedule thing last night, including change of a pre-req class that my school canceled so I couldn’t take. Hope the call was not a bad news.
They’ve called my daughter three times. And she told them each time she wasn’t going. It’s usually always in the evening because it’s students calling.
I think that different departments call you. Seems that most calls are from students with the same major. The voicemail was inviting me to go on friday the 8th to the raza event.
Sorry that I jumped into the discussion.
I reported a course schedule change. But I chose the “dropped courses” because I did not see “changed course”
But I put comment said I just changed the class planned into a class for major requirement. I do not have any grade drop or withdraw or dropped classes. But only changed class schedule for only one class, and it is also my major class.
I still did not hear back from them. They received my report on Monday, How long is it gonna take? Is it really gonna be 10 to 15 days? That holds my breathe.
