Hello and congratulations to everyone who got in! I am an admitted UCLA transfer student for this fall and for me, I was admitted with UCLA knowing I would finish the 7 course pattern but not IGETC because in the UC application, I did not state that I would finish IGETC.
My question: Do admitted UCLA transfer students like me, who have completed just the 7 course pattern, have to take additional English and math courses on top of the extra general education requirements at UCLA? My major is Korean if that will mean anything.
is there any way to petition your financial aid decision?

@Ellie64 Theme communities are programs / “living-learning communities” in residence halls. There are a few different types, and they’re all here: https://reslife.ucla.edu/theme/ Don’t know about the humanities residential college.

Hey guys, I’m a bit worried. So I’m averaging a low “C” in my precalculus class. I’m wondering if I withdraw from the course, do you think my admission would be revoked? I’m a psych major by the way and I’ve already completed the necessary math requirement for my major.
@LuckyName I don’t think we do. I only put some down and it didn’t seem to pose an issue. If it’s an issue, the page will prompt you to fill in the info before you progress in the survey.

@LuckyName Lol I took it because a couple of my backup schools require it and I need it for medical school.
Just got an email about the Alumni Scholarship!
Most important part: “Scholarships are awarded in a tiered system. The first round of selections will be made in the third week of May before your June 1st SIR date. However, you may hear from us in the future if and when a scholarship is available.”

Well as someone who has read them over at Berkeley it appears the key is to focus on a leadership role and really single something out about it. Hopefully, you did that.
