@Cayton, sorry to (maybe) be weird, but I was looking at the TSP thread from last year and saw that you planned on going. If you wouldn’t mind, I have a question. How competitive is it to get into TSP? Do I need to submit the app right as it goes online, or will I be fine waiting a few hours?

For applying to transfer in Fall 2016, they will look at Summer 2015 and Fall 2015 grades.

I ended up not going, but it’s not hard to get into TSP. At least, I didn’t recall it being too competitive. As long as you do everything you’re supposed to by the deadline(Better yet, do it ASAP), it shouldn’t be hard to get admitted and get the classes you need and financial aid for them.
If you don’t get in, I wouldn’t consider it a big deal. You can always do regular summer sessions classes at UCLA. Or just wait until fall to start classes, as I did.
Hey guys! I’ve posted this question before, but do you guys happen to know anything about the language requirement for transfer students? We only need up to level 2 language to transfer to the UC, but what about the graduation requirement? Any answers will help, thanks!
@littlebill Unless your major has additional requirements, if you completed your foreign language with IGETC, then you don’t need any additional language classes.
@luckie1367 I tried to buy the den pass and when I click purchase it says the item is no longer for sale. Does this mean I am too late?

@littlebill Just look up your major’s grad requirements online. A quick Google search should do the trick.
@lakeeshow310 They are not sold out. You may just not have the right access yet as a brand new student. I just tried to buy one, and it allowed me to. I didn’t click order, because I don’t need one, but I could have.
@lakeshow310 I had the same issue at first, because I didn’t see this little part below:
How to Order: Click on the button directly above this text and on the next page you will be prompted to log in. If you have not used this system before, click “Forgot Your Password” and type in your UCLA UID (if your UID begins with “00” add a 1 in the front). Your account information will be emailed to you.
However, I still had issues with that, so I’ve sent them an email.

No where on there does it mention foreign language. Does that mean it’s not required…? I guess I’m just a bit confused because on the page for College of L&S, it says that level 3 foreign language is required.

@littlebill If you have or will have your IGETC certification, then you’ve cleared any GE requirements for Letters and Science including foreign language.
