hey guys! So I’ve recently kinda had a change of heart and I’m not really enjoying my major anymore… I’m wondering if poly sci was a major you needed to be directly admitted to during the application process? Thanks

@zettasyntax I did my housing application on sunday night. I used a picture off my iphone but I cropped it. Then I emailed it to myself and I uploaded it from my computer. My picture is a .jpg and the file size is 8kb.
@History2Law Thanks a bunch! The size seems to have been the problem for me. My pictures were mostly 500KB to 1MB after resizing, but when I made it even smaller to get 16KB, it worked! I wonder what the cutoff is. Anyway, thanks again. I was getting really frustrated.

Is anyone else anxious for what’s in store at UCLA, academic wise? I’m hoping I’ll be able to make a smooth transition with all the new things going on… But I don’t want to become a shut-in 
Guess I’m just nervous because if there’s anything I’ve learned from the last two years, I do NOT take stress well.

@nappysama heyy dude, so it’s finals week for me right now and i have two more for today and tomorrow. I calculated my overall gpa using the uctapplanner and this spring semester… i messed up so bad. It dropped so much all the way down to like 3.2. I feel so discouraged now and i feel like giving up, but im still going to try my best this summer and the following semesters. Want to give me some advice? I feel like a failure.
Has anyone else tried submitting a photo for a bruin card? No matter what I do my photo is always sideways :-S
where is the bruin card link to do this?
@nappysama have you ever failed a course and retook it again for a higher grade? Do the universities care a lot about that D/F even though you retook that same course in a different semester and received an A or B instead
Bruincard update: got the photo to work, I have no idea why it was coming in sideways though.
