hahahah definitely
Isn’t it possible to create e-mail aliases?
It is, but it can be a headache unless you make sure to always use the alias. It’s easy to reply from the original address in which case the recipient may get confused.
I always laugh at people who don’t take emails seriously, especially credible emails like this. I stopped using childish emails when I was 14. Since then it’s always been my first name and last name. I love gummy bears but I’m not going to make an email of them.

Lol. NO!
…awk my ucla email is

My default email address for another school (usc) was jesserme - that sounds pretty darn funny to me
Soooo … I decided to accept my housing offer! I’m excited but also nervous Nothing shows up on BruinBill though … do I need to set something up in order for bruin bill to work?
none
@Manda001 give it a day or so
I’m using “username@g.ucla.edu” as my chosen official username, so my question is whether that is the official ucla email or is it the “username@ucla.edu” , because I came across a bruin online page that said ucla had shutdown the “@ucla.edu servers” on March 2015.
I had the same question, you can give people the same e-mail just without the g. (so @ucla.edu ) and it will route it to the google account, since UCLA doesn’t have their own server anymore. Same e-mail.
You can use either g.ucla.edu or ucla.edu.
hello so i submitted my SIR today (off of the waitlist) and this appears
“You may not enroll in an Orientation session until you have submitted your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).”
does anybody have the same issue?
@trnsfrstdnt I think it might take a day or so after submitting the SIR to access the Education Planner, and then to sign up for orientation.
Also, @fncrane nice new pic :x
yea that’s what I was thinking! I just need to sign up asap so I can get a closer date and finally buy my sweater!!
Lol I just reserved a spot in the last orientation session. Yaayyyy September!
Oh! An interesting note about the “not required” $100 SIR fee. I was a little worried so I did some digging on here yesterday, and apparently it’s relatively common for students who are transferring from another UC to UCLA to not have to pay the fee. Not sure if this is the case for everyone or why that is, but that seems to be the case. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Hey guys,
My IGETC certification is due September 1st, while the final transcripts with Spring 2015 grades is due July 1st. I’m wondering if I should send a separate transcript for the IGETC certification from the final transcript? In other words two other transcripts or send one transcript with the IGETC certification? My CCC only allows you to send out one IGETC certification.
yea i got 208…NOOOOOO
Maybe this is a stupid question but how many classes do one usually take per quarter? Whats a normal, manageable load if you want to graduate in 2 year? At CC, I took 4-5 per semester but the quarter system is a bit confusing …
