Fall 2016 Applied/Accepted Thread

Just got accepted to Fashion Merchandising! OMG! 1950 SS SAT, 3.66 CSU GPA! so happy!

Hey, where’s info about honors and scholarships? I know I probably got nothing but I’d like to know lol

@Mamelot where did you get the stats for this year?

Accepted as an out of stater. 1850 SAT, 3.5 Cal State GPA. Film major. @LKnomad In the acceptance letter it says there were over 90,000 applicants.

@filmandlacrosse I now realize it was on the attached letter. I was looking at the email itself. Thanks for letting me know.

Just got accepted today for Pre-Bus. Accounting. In state (bay area), 25 ACT, 3.92 CSU GPA. Honestly, I was really surprised to hear back this early! I thought most state schools didn’t send their acceptances until later.

Accepted into Pre-Communication studies with a 3.57 and 1890 SAT score. I’m so excited! I wasn’t expecting to hear back until at least mid-February

Accepted

Pre Bus. Marketing

GPA: 3.87
ACT: 27 (SS)

Son accepted today! Aerospace Engineering. EI 4240

Accepted yesterday  Congrats to everyone else

Congrats to all the accepted! Are you guys transfers or freshmen? I’m applying for transfer and I’m still waiting. Yesterday my application status still mentioned that I would be asked to complete a supplemental portion, even though I completed that a month ago. Today it finally said that it was received and they were reviewing everything.

Accepted
Pre-Biochemistry
SAT: 1830
GPA: 4.27

My status says that it is undergoing review in the competitive round… is anyone getting this? Or am I looking at the wrong area. I checked my email and did not get a deny or acceptance email.

@ckel8496, My daughter’s application was “advanced to the competitive round” the other day and she ended up with an acceptance. So that might be good news for you!

@ckel8496 - same here for my son.

My portal went straight from “we have completed the initial review” to accepted!

Just got the email this morning.

Rejected, GPA 3.65, ACT 26. Major Undecided/Alt.Major International Studies BA. D:
Congratulations to everyone who got in this early though!

Also does anyone think it’s worth appealing or nah?

@heartanium Wait, I didn’t even know rejection emails were sent out this early?? Considering the huge number of students who applied I wouldn’t be surprised if they threw out undecided applicants right away but I’m no expert. If you want to you should.

That’s strange, I don’t see why they would be sending rejections this early and you stats are within their range.
@flaminhaute I doubt any college would do that.
