4/21 seems like a rejection day according to last year’s thread. The later you get a decision, the higher your chances are of being accepted?

Would they accept applicants that they are 100% sure about at this period, and wait two weeks to see how many applicants pay deposit? and determine how many spaces available for remaining applicants

Actually, it is really confusing for the definition of rolling notification. Let’s assume the acceptance rate to be 10%, then if there are a great amount of accepted decisions released early, then to balance the acceptance rate, AO had to admit less applicants later. In other words, the number of applicants that will be accepted later must be affected. Therefore, I don’t think rolling notification is quite different from rolling admissions…

For every batch, the acceptance rate is always constant.
A student from Villanova was accepted to ILR on the 12th. From what I gathered he was not a GT.
@hf1234 Thanks! You too @cornell1203 That’s what I thought, unless they have a certain criteria. essays and ECs vary and it depends what they find worth of… To balance the rates, i think they will admit less applicants on later batches. At this point, i’m very worried
Thing is you don’t have to be worried @dingko . Look at last year’s thread. Most rejections came out before May.
