@Artixreed I’m also an SHA applicant. I’m hoping earlier than later, but knowing Cornell the date will probably fall somewhere close to mid-May. There’s really no good way to predict it, haha. Good luck to both of us.

I got an email 3 days ago that some info is missing from my application and that I should go submit it online, but then when I go online, everything looks like its been already submitted. I’m confused? Has anybody gotten that email?

@Janizary Well, in that case, I won’t be super depressed during finals if I am to be rejected after the semester ends.

@Artixreed Yeah, the semester will be over for me as well, which is a bit of a relief to be honest. And don’t be so quick to put yourself down like that. You never really know what your decision will be until it’s released. Hotel School is my dream school, so I hope we both get in!

Hotel School is my dream school as well. Thank you for the hope. I was starting to feel horrible after looking at all the applicants here and from past years. But, I know to apply for Cornell we needed to work hard for it so good luck to both of us! I’m believing in us!

@2Brown4MyOwnGood I think at least 5 people from each school have gotten rejections/acceptances!! Have you visited vandy? I am a local and vandy is beautiful! Lots of diversity. And Nashville is fun!! (Just don’t drive or you won’t get anywhere lol).
Yeah, I’m in the same situation. I’m really doubting that I’ll hear back from Cornell in time though… SHA is known to send in decisions well past May 2nd…
I think, currently, they are reviewing our applications. I don’t expect we can get a result until the middle of May

Are you sure? i know last year, most of CHE came out near the end of april
@socoutmia I really wanted to pick Vandy solely because of how beautiful it looks. I’ve never visited unfortunately but anything is better than where I live (desert “paradise” in the west). If I get rejected from Cornell, make no mistake I will NOT be upset lol. Can I ask you about the car thing? My mom literally told me just this morning that she wants to ship my car to Nashville and I was telling her it was a silly idea as there was no real point. Can you tell me about the advantages/disadvantages from your experience?
@Janizary did you send them an email asking for a speedy response? You should explain the situation and ask to be considered early. If I don’t hear a response on Tuesday I’m going to ask on specific college on the phone (since admissions isn’t picking up transfer calls)
@HereToTransferr A lot of CHE people in THIS thread got their responses already. If you search through some pages you’ll find that a decent amount got response and acceptances. Some of those people definitely applied earlier than I did (last day) so that might contribute to it.
