@hf1234 I wouldn’t mind… Although it does get really tiring seeing people from my high school or people I know, I’m having an alright time. I’ve created friends, joined organizations, and got involved with my community so if I stay, it won’t be a lose situation. And also next semester would be easier than at cornell, especially since I’m taking easier classes (not the more rigroous, uninspiring classes Cornell wanted me to take like general bio shudder if I wasnt trying to apply as a transfer )
Also curious, but can anyone log into housing?
@HereToTransferr they seem to be a week behind this year (deduced from when GTs started getting acceptances in comparison from previous years). If last year’s rejection day was on the week of 4/21, logically it means this week is this year’s version of it.
And truthfully, I highly think that is incorrect. A lot of people said in an earlier post in this thread that they had looked up their decision date on the portal a couple of times and it got moved to a different time, and then a different date. Until they got the official email they were able to actually view the decision. I really doubt someone is tracking the link, a more logical possibility is that they change the date/time of the decisions due to the large amount of applications and due to the limited time they have to release them & they have to organize every Tuesday how many are going to go out. So maybe they will release originally 100 of them on a Tuesday but suddenly they are behind and need more time so they push back the decision date until another time/day — much more plausible.
The different pin # is obvious. Each code is probably computer generated, so every time they need to change something from the original list of decisions, the pin # could be altered automatically which will generate a different number for each applicant. At least that is what I would think. Stop worrying about the link everyone, I doubt they will care we look up the decision every day. They are so busy doing much more important things.
true @blackwidow22 lol. and plus everyone is doing it so lol
@HereToTransferr yes! And probably multiple times a day…it is expected though haha
And nope, I can’t login to the housing portal
Allright i can’t either but im curious if anyone can atm
I think at around these days last year some people could. However, some of them ended up getting rejected anyway lol
What is this pin that you guys are talking about? I never received an email saying I had a pin, just an applicant id and activation code after submitting my application.
@FanofSoccer https://decision.applyyourself.com/fl_login.aspx?id=cornellu click on forgot password & put in the email you gave them.
You only get this pin # once your decision is ready
Okay, now I understand. Thank you very much @blackwidow22!
I know this is crazy late, but have any of your AP score reports showed up on your application portal?
I just noticed that my checklist has no indication of it being received. So, mild panic right now.
If it wasn’t received, my transcript indicated that I received credit for certain AP tests (calc, lit, psych etc.). That would suffice wouldn’t it?
Hi guys, I just tried to reset my pin. It worked for me. After I reset my password and login it says: “Your decision will be viewable on 4/26/2016 at 10:00 AM.” LOL
@owenrider same situation
God luck to all of you who will be getting decisions tomorrow! Try not to overthink the next few hours!
can’t log into housing. who’s with me?
I am getting directed to this page which is asking me to login through the university login page. What does that mean?
@transferind97 that means that you can’t login into the housing yet. I don’t expect anyone to be able to right now even if they are accepted because Cornell doesn’t usually allow access to it until May.
Not being able to login into housing doesn’t indicate your decision, it just means your decision isn’t ready and that Cornell is not doing the housing part yet.
Was there anyone who got admitted last year during rejection week?
@Tilltheend We call it rejection day/week (4/21) because the majority of applicants here in CC were rejected but there were some who were accepted, I counted around 3.
@blackwidow22 I’m getting my decision tomorrow…
