General Transfer? I applied around early March
@MikeSauce Guaranteed Transfer (applied as a freshman and got offered a guaranteed transfer option).
Let’s call the admission office and ask them whether next tuesday is acceptance day or rejection day lol I’m curious bout their responses
I’m pretty sure theyre going to deny and say there is no such thing as an acceptance or rejection day.
yes, and I don’t think they’ll necessarily know the outcome of the decisions that will come out next week just yet
hi @randomthougths48 congrats! do you mind sharing your stats?
Are decisions only released on Tuesdays or is it everyday of the week but weekends?
It appears to be every Tuesday, although surely it could happen at any time.
No, I applied for junior standing
Accepted CALS AEM today, transfer eval was updated last week Thursday. Had the GT option.
Anybody that’s not a GT hear back from CALS today? I still cant reset pin.
@sabribri070 @kbd1123 Congrats!! Were you guys guaranteed transfers?
Accepted into engineering!!
@bing101 Congrats!!! If you don’t mind, when was your application sent for review, and what major?
@bing101 Congratulations! Btw are you a GT or just a regular applicant?
@seeme97x I’ve never posted stats before, but sure! I received the transfer option last spring.
For hs, I had a 4.0 GPA, 9APs (4s on all but one 5, lol), 2170 SAT, 790 Math II and 740 Chem
I had a lot of EC, including president of CHS, sports captain, orchestra and some regional and state stuff from Science Olympiad. I volunteered too and had a part-time job (which I still work at).
For college, I go to a SUNY school. 4.0 GPA, and my midterm grade report was all As and one A-. That was basically all I needed for the TO (transfer option) to go through-- no essays or recommendations!
@AimHighandFight Engineering doesn’t do GT’s.
@tiramisu2 I see. Thanks!
My application was sent for review on March 12th and I still didn’t get a decision this morning, which made me really confused. Because I saw someone whose application was forwarded to review in early April already got their decisions. If I am rejected, shouldn’t I receive it today and if I am admitted, shouldn’t I also receive it today because I emailed them requesting a decision by May 1st? A friend of mine suggested that they might be hesitant about what to do with my application. Any ideas?
I am applying to CAS by the way
I just got a phone call from Ian!! I am in!!
