I am kind of curious, you have already been a Project Manager in Apple, which is my career dream actually, why you still hope to complete your bachelor degree? You could have applied for graduate school I guess based on your claims. Super good background~ Good luck!
An applicants to the Nursing program as transfers? Has anybody heard back yet?
From what I know, it is mid April! Any day now!
@cornell1203 I actually want to go to grad school for an MBA but most of these programs require a BS at least, otherwise I would skip undergrad. But I actually would love to just stay at Apple but there is no room for growth for me without a degree, I cant even get a simple bonus not to mention a promotion, which I feel like I clearly deserved. Working at Apple is a great experience, I highly recommend it!

whoops… finding
@benzeneC6H6 I’m still waiting from the school of nursing as well
its my 10th week of waiting…geez…any of u guys know when the decisions come out? seem like some people got their decisions already. Whenever I talk to the admissions office, they just keep telling me to wait and this waiting is just killing me
Does anyone who applied for CoE get their decisions?
Still waiting on the COE decision here.
I have also applied to the College of Engineering and still have not received a response. I made an account to post this since the extended wait is starting to burden my consciousness. Two pressing questions I have are:
- When will COE applicants receive a response? From what I have recognized on this thread, nobody has received a response yet and I don't want to bother the admissions counselors by asking.
- If applicants receive their decisions in late April, will they still be expected to submit an enrollment deposit by May 1st? I would surely hope that a grace period for this deposit is extended.
By the way, I could swear that when I applied the undergraduate admissions site said applicants should expect to hear a decision in 4-6 weeks after applying. I no longer see that posted on any of the University of Michigan web pages. Otherwise, I would have a valid reason to contact admissions and ask why my decision is taking so long. Does anybody else recall seeing this information?
Any insight about the aforementioned inquiries would be greatly appreciated.
still have not heard back from CoE either
enrollment deposits get extended when admission decisions come out late. If you look on previous threads, CoE decisions usually came out between april 15th-april 30th so that’s when I bet people will start to hear back.
Relax
When yall say CoE, do yall mean college of education?
Or Cockrell school of engineering
@2016falltransfer UM has a School of Education, or SoE for short. The College of Engineering, or CoE, is what people are referring to.
@DivergentScholar this FAQ (directed towards general -i.e. transfer- and first year students) says the turnaround time is 6-8 weeks. I know high school applicants to the CoE just recevied decisions in the past couple of weeks, so transfer decisions shouldn’t be too far behind.
