Fall 2016 Transfers - Official Thread

@cornell1203 I called the admission counselor I know, and he told me that the CoE is behind on their decisions, which have an ETA of coming out in May :[ not the best news, but still an update

Thank you~. So far none of my decisions has come out :-/

@cornell1203 One came out for me, but not in my favor, so I am definitely hosed. Definitely on the same boat as you!

Rejected by Cornell today, my top 1 choice. haha~ Hope Umich can let me in

Hey guys, I was accepted a few weeks ago.

I was wondering does anyone know when UMich will release official financial aid packages to accepted students? While I definitely want to attend UMich, I really don’t know how accurate UMich’s “estimates” are compared to their official packages. Do I have to call them directly to receive this information? I thought it should be sent to students automatically.

I’ve sent all required Financial Aid documents over a week ago.

Accepted to the Engineering school!

@sunny16 Congrats!

Can you share some stats and where are you are applying from?

Congratualtions! When do you receive the decision? today? I thought it is early may…

@sunny16

Does anyone else have access to “My Scholarship Profile” on Wolverine Access?

Does anyone know how to get their OTID??

@drdreidel I also have access to “my Scholarship Profile” as well. Was it accessible before?

@bbpalo29 I don’t think so. I was hoping it means something good lol.

@drdreidel this is what I found under the Financial Aid Page: "University Scholarships

Students are considered for most scholarships and do not need to apply for them separately. We encourage you to apply for admission early to receive equal consideration with other applicants. Once admitted, visit the My Scholarship Profile on Wolverine Access and complete it to ensure that you are considered for all scholarships. To be considered for scholarships that are awarded to students with financial need, you must also apply for financial aid."

That sounds like good news to me haha.

@drdreidel what school did you apply to?

@bbpalo29 College of Engineering. You?

@drdreidel School of Nursing. Did you fill out the scholarship profile?

No. I don’t want to just in case it’s a mistake or something. Until I get my decision I’m focusing on finals.

Or in case everyone got the same update.
