Fall 2016 Transfers - Official Thread

Does any engineering applicant receive decisions today?

Applied for Mech Eng and still heard nothing.
its been more than 3 months now… this really sucks

Same here and I know two other applicants. One applied to the school of sciences (biology or something) and she got in already. Deadline to deposite for her was May 1st. The other guy was aerospace engineering and he hasn’t gotten any word either. Guess engineers either have to wait a long time this year or we all have bad news coming…

The engineering applicants must have written some really long essays. Who would have thought?

I am Michigander and I have tons of friends who went crazy while waiting for UM’s decision. I knew it would take forever for them to release decisions for engineers, but its worse this year…

COE here. Still no word.

Engineers who are still waiting, let’s figure out one thing. Can you all get access to “my scholarship profile” on the portal?

Yes I can

Is there anyone who cannot see that profile? well, maybe the previous posts are wrong. lol

Shoot I hope that wasn’t meaningless lol.

I hope it isn’t. But honestly speaking, so far none of us cannot access to that profile

I mean only four people so far said they can. But to be fair, I’m going back and reading older threads and I probably won’t be accepted anytime soon because I’m still doing my prereqs.

One thing is very strange. I called the representative at Umich today, she said the decisions were late because some of the applications are still under reviewed. But the decision should be out as soon as it is made. I guess they may try to go over something as a whole again.

So they are not releasing them all at once? Damn that sucks. I just got more nervous

I am also able to access a link to My Scholarship Profile

Completed my application three months ago, yet still waiting for a decision on AeroE. Pretty frustrating.

I can access the “View my scholarship profile” as well, and have been ever since I applied and received my UMich ID.

At this point I dont think there will be any places left to live in ann arbor if I get accepted

This is an extremely valid point. I would be fortunate enough to live with somebody I went to high school with if admitted, but if I was planning on contracting my own housing I would be dramatically concerned at this point.

Plus, I just needed another excuse to complain about this taking so long!

Did anybody else, that applied to the School of Nursing BSN transfer receive the informative email?

@benzeneC6H6 I received that email as well
