@wannabeflower I live close enough to commute (around 2 hours away), so I’ll either drive or try the metrolink. I submitted my app for summer aid more than 3 weeks ago and haven’t received a word from ucla.
I just got the e-mail today that I was accepted for the Alumni Scholarship. 
I’m so happy.

@Seljuk Also, did you just pay for the class out-of-pocket, or are you going to wait until they send your financial aid award?

So good news, I was super stressed for the past week cause I was 1 quarter unit short from 90 units. I would of had 89 units completed after Spring quarter. So after scrolling though these threads for hours, I only found discouraging messages about how I will get rescinded. But I thought contacting UCLA would be a much better option, so I submitted an updated application telling them that I dropped 3 classes, and added 2 new ones, which leaves me 1 quarter unit short. And they replied within 3 business days telling me that my admission still stands.
So, NO YOU WON’T GET RESCINDED FOR HAVING LESS UNITS! Just report it as soon as possible through the online application update! FYI: This was after I was accepted to UCLA!

Did anyone else get the Alumni Scholsrship email? If so, congrats! I have not received anything. The email they sent me after I sent my application in said they would be notifying students the end of May thru August. I wonder if they really do notify thru August. Anyone have any info? Thx.
@wannabeflower Actually, I just received my aid award this morning!. I might pay out-of-pocket for the time being. I’m taking econ 11 and a music industry class. What about you?
