no way. they like watching us suffer… they can smell fear.
I applied as a Physiological Science major too!! :-h
@jewelsp23
@amunroeee @junemoon @MYgrdesAREgood @evlinm1 yoooo psych major here too!! I just decided to join this thread after lurking for so long. Anyway, good luck everyone on decisions tomorrow! Fingers crossed!!!
Wait did UCLA get more or less transfer applicants this year than previous years? I’ve seen people on this thread claim both. I know that they got a higher number of freshmen applicants… no idea about transfers though.
classics major here. damn i hope i get in
LOL It’s 4:26 and I looked at the time on my phone and thought it was the date so I got excited and checked the portal but it was still up…I’ve officially lost it.
@TheBayorLA they got LESS transfer applicants. 21,811 for Fall 2017.
Fall 2016 had 22,262 Transfer applicants
Fall 2015 had 20,063 transfer applicants
@TheBaylorLA more but that doesn’t make it more competitive. they admit by major as well. classics major is less impacted, easier to get accepted

A fellow lurker here, but I have seen people on here talk about major GPA vs total GPA. Does UCLA really take your major GPA into consideration? (like if your major gpa is a 4.0, but your total gpa is like a tiny bit below that).
Hello Everyone! I just a general question, that requires UC Davis admits to answer!
First off: Best of luck to everyone on this Thread. WE GOT THIS!
Okay, so my question is for Davis admits. On the Davis portal underneath the academic tab, you can see the transferable courses and the GPA. Is it safe to assume this is the GPA calculated for all of the UC’s and the one used for other campus admissions including UCLA’s?
Please and thank you!
Are there any other sophomore transfers here jw?
re: what you guys said a couple pages back (and the quick reference pdf), does ucla not ever admit non-tap students for their alternate major? my best friend goes to ucla and i didn’t think she was tap but she got in for her second choice
@johnfuentesa generally speaking, the Davis gpa is pretty accurate across the board in terms of the UCs (i think?)
@skyliners Someone asked this question to a UCLA admissions lady and she said that someone has to be extraordinary for them to do that.
Anyone find any tricks to find our decision early?
@UCLAorUCBTRNSFR not that I’ve heard of that have worked. “Tricks” only breed more anxiety and insanity. We just gotta wait it out. I know we’re all feeling a little desperate but we’re almost there.
Is there anyone we can ask about when they will be sending out regents invites?
Exactly 1 day left… good luck everybody!
24 HOURS!
