@lostar yeahh! That’s what I’m saying! It’s so funny that with similar GPA, someone gets in and someone doesnt. It might depend on the ECs but who knows. No one knows. Especially with Ucla and Ucb :s

@docazure while your GPA is a little on the low side you have an impressive’ resume and the UCs love vets (especially Berkeley). Going simply on a hunch I think you stand an excellent shot. You have shown leadership, grit, team-building, loyalty, perseverance. Good luck!

EC: Inter Club Council , 10 hours a week, one year term, allocating $50000+ to all the clubs on campus, managing all the clubs etc
Club Marketing officer: hosting various networking fairs on campus, working with local businesses for club event’s sponsorship and funding
Honors Program: writing multiple research papers on econmic issues

You Know what’s funny, I’ve always, assumed that Berkeley would be a tough campus to be on as veterans tend to run on the conservative side, and it seems like the administration there fosters a more liberal approach to certain issues. It is rather surprising to hear that they love vets there.

I was surprised that UCI sent it in the mail and not through an email…also that they sent it so long after admission decisions? That makes me nervous that UCLA might take awhile too.
I reached out to UCLA admissions on twitter the other day asking when decisions will be released, and they’re STILL saying there’s no set date yet. But my heart is set on the 21st.
