I’ve been following this thread the past couple days because I’m super anxious for my little sister to get her admissions decision!
She talked to a UCLA transfer admissions counselor today at a college fair at LA Pierce College- she confirmed it will be Wednesday the 26th. :,(
I am still too nervous and excited to fully accept this news but I wanted to let everyone know what we heard from the source. I guess we will all be getting happy or sad drunk on a Wednesday next week- even though every year UCLA transfers came out this Friday historically.

I have a MyUCLA account because I did summer classes through UCLA two years ago and I don’t think you can make a MyUCLA account unless you are going to be enrolled in a class? So probably isn’t worth it to worry about that. Also I’ve checked my MyUCLA account and haven’t found any noticeable differences but I also didn’t apply for financial aid so that could be part of it. All around we’ll know soon! Just gotta wait a few more days and keep our heads up!
Anybody can make a myucla student account now because UCLA has opened their summer quarter up to the public. This means instead of taking classes at your CC, you can take them at UCLA for UC credits, and even do some upper division requirements before you even get to UCLA. I’ve had mine for a while now, though it was only because I worked for UCLA for a while.
@cmdchavezz being the detectives we are, some people are trying to find loopholes in the myUCLA website that indicates whether or not people have been accepted ( @FaithGraceUC has mentioned that the hacks several years ago was that you could see your financial aid or something like that, which would indicate that you’ve been accepted)
Has anyone gotten any more promotional emails from UCLA over the past month or so? I haven’t so I wanted to see if anyone else has cause I got like four in January and February so maybe that’s a bad sign now haha

I can’t believe they’re pushing it back because I had a secret party planned for tonight (happy party with baloons and UCLA swag if she got admitted) and lots of wine and non UCLA presents if she didn’t D: going through this emotional roller coaster with you all
@MiniGrace11 Hey!! You’re a tft applicant too?! Did you interview with them back in March? I’m especially nervous because only 15 people get into the tft school… 15!! That’s crazy low, but I’m still hoping.

GPA: 3.64
Pre Reqs: Done
IGETC: Done
EC: president of a club in high school, in charge of my high school yearbook, and a couple jobs here and there
I don’t think UCs put much weight on your high school ECs if you apply as a transfer but your GPA is in the interquartile range! I applied at sociology too and my GPA is pretty similar. I know a soc major who got in with a 3.4. Good luck! @5HisLife
