I’m part of the honors program at my school, have done three research conferences, volunteer at my school’s STEM Center, maintain a 20 hour per week job, and intern for my the chair of the Chemistry Department at my school. I guess Irvine is getting tougher and tougher to get into 
I. got rejected tooooooo with gpa 3.79 business information management. I literally waited for 2 months day by day checking on my portal. It finally turned to a rejection. I don’t know why would they reject someone who tagged? I just don’t understand and I’m so sad:/ Anyone tagged and got rejected today?
no joke i dont think UCI cares about ECs prob cuz they have to accept all the TAGs first which makes me sad

@PlzCal No, I was accepted at UCSD for structural engineering which was my second choice. As far as which school I’m leaning more towards, it might be UCSD. I’ve visited both school and I personally like UCSD’s campus way more.

Hello Guys! Can anybody give me advice? My appeal to submit a late application was accepted, but should I submit it? I’ve seen a lot a rejections, and I’m a bit hesitant since its $70. My major is mechanical engineering and I have about a 3.65 transferable gpa

@theScreen Hello, I never got a notification for your first post! I wasn’t ignoring it lol. But yes I did, I sent four. UCM, UCR, UCSD, and UCI. So far UCM and UCI have accepted the appeals.
@“theScreen” for your first post, I don’t think they have a deadline. I sent it and admissions told me they forwarded it to appeals. If there was a deadline, admissions would have probably never forwarded it. Or I would be automatically rejected the day it got there. But I haven’t heard anything!
