@SofiSana i checked last year’s transform forum and someone had said they called the admissions office and they said that they would still be sending out decisions over the weekend, but you should probably double check and call maybe not this year if they has less than 100,000 applicants

@SofiSana they sent out decisions on friday and saturday last year but they were mainly rejections… -sigh-
Well guys if we’re getting rejected I hope and assume you all have a back up choice, but I just wanted to say that UCI, while it is a good school, does not define who you are or the success you will achieve in life. You make opportunities for yourself! Just remember that. I keep having to remind myself cus I was pretty bummed last night when all the acceptances came out and my portal said nothing.
Everything happens for a reason I believe so maybe we are all meant for a different path. Either way, bad news or good news, I wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors, I know you will all do great! 
But forreal though, UCI, can you just let us know so we can move on with our lives lol

Just got accepted at UCSD for structural engineering which was my second choice. GPA 3.67.
Now waiting for UCI, hopefully accepted for mechanical engineering.

Does anyone know if there’s a difference between submitting a housing application through the admissions portal or just applying directly on the apartment website. For example: my first choice is Vista del Campo, and on their website, they are accepting applications for fall 2018. Is this any different or does it give me any better chances of getting into this apartment complex in the type of room that I want?

got into ucsd for public health, honestly didn’t think i would get accepted at all. i applied to ucm as my safety with ucsd as my reach. uci is just my dream school and honestly it all depends on uci’s decision and financial aid at this point.
thought i screwed myself by only applying to three uc’s with a mediocre gpa but it’s worked out!!
