Fall 2019 Transfer Student- What are my chances?

I’m currently applying to schools for fall 2019 as a junior transfer student from community college. Let me give you some background on me:

My first semester of college I went to James Madison University as a nursing major. I quickly realized nursing was the farthest thing from what I wanted to study (I come from a family where parents/siblings all work in the health sciences/medical field). This realization, coupled with severe homesickness, spiraled me into one of the worst bouts of depression I have ever been through. I lost 20 pounds, rarely left my dorm room, and by the second month of the semester was preparing to return home in the winter to attend community college while I collected my bearings and got back on my feet. That being said, that one semester of grades from JMU is far from pretty. In fact, if I would have stayed at the school I was to be placed on academic probation. My GPA was a 1.5, I failed two courses, and lost hope that the future of my college experience would be anything but dull, unforgiving, and disappointing.

Second semester I returned home to Long Island and began studying at Suffolk County Community College, and I am now in my third semester here. I knew it was time to study what I was truly drawn to and passionate about, which is English and Creative Writing (much to my parents’ dismay). I now have a 3.5 GPA (still not nearly as high as I wanted but again, its taken time to pull myself out of the dark place I’ve been in). Now enough backstory, onto the good stuff:

Current GPA at SCCC: 3.5
Dean’s List 2018
Online manager and published contributor at the campus literary magazine
Member of Sigma Kappa Delta English Honors Society for Two Year Colleges
Active member of the Society for Writers on campus
Three times published in TeenInk print magazine
Five time Editor’s Choice award winner at TeenInk magazine
Co-founder and columnist of The Indigo Auras online magazine
Vice President of SADD (Students Against Destruction Decisions)
Busser at a four star restaurant in Westhampton Beach

High school GPA was around a 3.75, took a handful of APs with 4s on all exams, redesigned SAT score was 1240 (not the best)

I am a writer and I believe my essay and supplements to be incredibly strong, and I also have two strong letters of recommendation from English professors who really believe in me and my writing.

I applied to the following:
SUNY Purchase
SUNY New Paltz
Emerson College
Boston University
Ithaca College
Skidmore College
Barnard College (HUGE reach, I know, just figured I’d give it a shot)

Sorry for this gargantuan post, but chance me please???!!!

pls help me lol
