I previously posted NB and Newark mostly would have decisions made by March 1st… I just found out to expect a decision tomorrow. They couldn’t just tell me over the phone?! Best of luck to everybody!!
How did you find that out? Is it just for you or for everyone? I’m so nervous lol
@coolhandluke72 now that I’m friends with everybody in the admission department in Newark because I’ve had to call countless times over various things, they said most students should see an update as of tonight at midnight because there’s deadlines that need to be met. To get students ready for financial aid, registering for classes and attempting orientation.
Is the update just for Newark? Or is it NB too?
I spoke to Newark admissions but the website for NB has the same deadlines in place so it could be both.
I just checked my application, still says “In Process.” I applied January 14th so I’m not sure what’s taking so long!

Some people didn’t hear back until mid-April last year, and I really hope that doesn’t end up being the case again
So, I was just accepted with a 3.6 for a major. English/minor Rectal studies. <3
So I found out today that I got accepted into Rutgers NB SAS!! Good luck to everyone else!

I applied January 21 and they got everything the 23. Got into SAS but not the Business school, but didn’t really expect to get into RBS anyways lol
Has anyone heard today? I am getting more and more nervous. Also, I emailed admissions in an attempt to correct something on my application and haven’t heard back from them. Has anyone heard anything from them?
I haven’t heard anything yet. I applied on January 14th and they received everything by the 15th, so I’m getting nervous as well.
@tlarks I just got off the phone with them. My payment was submitted on the 13th of Feb. but shows on my status screen that it wasn’t processed until the 18th and the woman assured me that I will still hear back in the regular transfer timeline. So, I guess we just have to wait.
@trnsfer2020 i needed to add my maiden name to my application and when I emailed nobody got back to me so I called and they updated it immediately.
I applied for the SAS NB and SAS Newark for a BS in Computer Science late December right after Christmas, and they received my CC transcript on January 2nd. I received an email saying I got into Newark on February 2nd and I found out I got into NB via email on February 26th. I had a 3.6 cumulative GPA, 3.885 Fall 2019 GPA, was in the PTK, and had 51 credits completed at the time of submitting my application. I graduate in May with an AS in Computer Science. Hopefully these stats help anyone trying to gauge if they can get in from a CC.
