Fall 2020 Yale Transfer Thread

Nice @ESchrodinger Im going for math too. As u can see from my name

Last year people couldn’t view their decisions till 5:10-- according to the thread.

ooh 2 minutes

nope nothing.

Btw do admission officers read these threads? Just curious.

Probably not is my guess

Does yale have an admitted students website sign on like Columbia? Maybe we can try a loophole

so do we think it’s just not going to come out tonight? or is there a possibility for later?

So I really almost had a heart attack opening the portal for nothing ?

Could it be later? Harvard released at 7 on Friday…

Just keep an eye out y’all! I’m gonna check probably every hour for a few hours ?

Have any brave soldiers asked an AO when they’ll be released?

Or someone email them again?

guys guys quick check the portal

@cauchyschwarz19 NOT chill

bruh

ya same i dont see anything. Sorry for panicking

Why am I so anxious after getting rejected from all 12 US universities last year and 2 out of 3 transfers this year (the 3rd is Yale). Why do I still have hope? I didn’t get an AO interview so its an obvious rejection, yet I’m still clinging on to a strand of hope. I’m an idiot.

@cauchyschwarz19 I was just looking through this thread and saw your comment, but the Columbia loophole was actually not a loophole. I tried logging into the welcome website before the decisions came out but had failed to do, along with many others who also tried and failed. However, when the decisions came out, I found out I was accepted, meaning there was no loophole at the first place.

@ivysky interesting. I read on the Columbia thread that it was a loophole in the past. Dont know how true that is.
