Fall break plans

<p>We got our info from housing with the shuttle information for fall break. I had thought fall break was the weekend before it was. I see it is Halloween weekend.</p>

<p>Just a heads up for those of you who may head to New Orleans that weekend to see friends or otherwise get in trouble, it’s easy to do that here, that weekend is Voodoo Festival.</p>

<p>It’s not as big as JazzFest or Mardi Gras, but it is gaining in popularity, especially among the high school and college set.</p>

<p>As others have pointed out to check academic calendars before booking rooms to visit Bama, giving those of you wishing to come to New Orleans for fall break a heads up, rooms will be scarce and overpriced.</p>

<p>I know that several students are already planning for fall break but are using the word, “beach.”</p>
