Fall Semester Grades for Admission

I’m currently a junior in undergrad and will be pursuing an MBT during my senior year (I’ll graduate with both my BS and MS in May 2012). I plan to submit my law school applications as early as possible next fall.

In order to keep my scholarships, I have to take one undergraduate course in fall 2011. My question is, would law school admissions look at my fall 2011 undergraduate grades when calculating my GPA? The grades wouldn’t come out until late December, early January and I plan to have my applications submitted by October at the latest.

My kid’s Fall semester grades were not included in the scores sent by LSADS to schools with his Fall applications. Since his Fall semester grades were very good, he chose to have an updated transcript sent to the LSADS as soon as possible over the holiday break. They did send out the updated information, although it had almost no impact on the index scores that they provide to schools. The schools don’t calculate your GPA - check out the LSADS GPA process as LSAC.org.
