ok, i just received an email from vassar saying that my app is incomplete because they dont have my sat2 scores or act scores!! but i have reports from the testing sites that they were sent to vassar months ago!!! im really worried and i dont know what the problem is and why they didnt receive them!! so anyways, in my panic i sent an email back and realized that i had misspelled “counselor”- i had typed COUNCELOR!!! the horror!!! i sent it by accident w/o even hitting spell check!! i quickly sent a letter of apology explaining that in my anxiety of having an incomplete app, i failed to notice the typo, but i feel that this whole mess could be detrimental to my possibility of acceptance!!!
to make matters worse, the correspondence was with the senior director of admissions!!! ahhhhhhh, what do you guys think?? with this really screw it up for me???

youre fine. theyll get everything, and they will not disregard everything you have done for the last 4 years because of one small, simple spelling mistake. stop stressing. think about how pointless it is.

hahaha ok, thanks holden, i hope youre right :)

by the way holden, did you ever decide to apply to vassar? if you wish to not answer that’s fine too.

ya i applied, rd though. hoping their lack of males will be of some advantage, though i doubt it will. when do you find out about edII?

eh yeah, i think that will be an advantage. im supposed to find out by the end of january i guess. right after midterms! so it could be a huge relief or it could be a heaping of salt on the wounds. i guess we’ll see…

well, good news, they found all of my scores in the “records room” :)

whew, now you can breath
