<p>anyway… do colleges take into consideration why you had gap years? if you have all other things excellent (grades, accomplisments outside of school, SAT…)… </p>
<p>because i have all excellent but i had parent dying out of cancer in last year of HS and it influenced my college choice totally (medicine), since we cant transfer in Europe to other “majors”… i had gap years.</p>
<p>. i am not expecting to get in based on that, just wanting to know how they view all that… should i mention it in my bio…</p>
