I want to be a family phyician that has my own buisness and for pre-med I am going to University of North Texas. The question is should I take the phyician assistaint class or what other class would I take? P.S. I don’t want to be a phyician assistaint. P.P.S. I would be willing to go to Texas Christain University if UNT won’t work. Thanks for your time, all anwsers will help!!!

Unsure of your question…Are you asking about which classes to take as a pre-med major? Not sure why you are asking about a PA course…

Listen up. Since you are effectively trying to get into medical school, these are the courses you need:

1 year of Biology
1 year of General Chemistry
1 year of Organic Chemistry
1 year of English
1 year of Physics
Usually 1 year of Calculus or Statistics

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention. Assuming you’re going to be a freshman in the fall, that means you’ll be taking the 2015 MCAT. This is a NEW version of the MCAT that is going to be offered soon. That means along with the above, you’ll want to take courses in Psychology and Sociology, as these will be covered in that version of the MCAT.

Plus, you’ll most certainly want to tackle on upper division science courses as well (i.e. Biochemistry, Immunology, Physiology, etc.)

There’s no reason to take Physician Assistant classes if you’re trying to get into medical school.

Might also be an idea to learn how to spell physician.

Thanks for the anwsers. One more question, would it be better to go to Texas Christain University?

I don’t see why it would hurt to attend TCU over UNT. In my opinion, whichever is less expensive in the long run.
