<p>No, Natalie Portman graduated from Harvard a few years ago as a psychology major.</p>
<p>She did, however, teach a class at Columbia on terrorism a few months ago.</p>
<p>And Jake dropped out.</p>

Ryder Strong (from Boy Meets World) and the kid from 3rd Rock From the Sun were a year behind me. I saw both of them plenty of times. BFD.</p>
<p>Jane Seymour’s daughter (who was Miss Golden Globe at the GG Awards my soph year) was in my class. She was in my dorm for 2 years. Unfortunately, her mom (at 50+) is much more attractive than the daughter. My dad talked (stalked) to Jane Seymour at orientation and parents’ weekend.</p>
<p>Anna Paquin and Julia Stiles each overlapped with me before they dropped out. Never saw either.</p>
<p>Hikaru Utada was in my class. She’s famous in Japan, but a nobody here. She had a bodyguard but I never saw her detail let along her.

<p>Vogue magazine editor-in-chief Anna Wintour’s daughter, Bee Shaffer, attends Columbia. She was lugging around a copy of the Iliad during Fashion Week because she said Columbia made her. Ha.</p>

Q: Did they incorporate school into their program at all?</p>
<p>EMMY: Hahaha, no. I was attending Spence, which was a private school here in New York. I went there until 7th grade when they gave me an ultimatum, because I was missing about 40 days a year of school for rehearsals. They asked me if I thought Placido Domingo would be willing to rehearse after school hours. Of course, Id had to ask him but I wasnt for sure if the man would go for that. After that, they said Choose. And it wasnt a choice for me. Since then, Ive never ever done anything in a conventional way but I did my high school through tutors and the Internet through Stanford University and now I take classes at Columbia University.</p>
<p>Q: What have you been studying?</p>
<p>EMMY: Im trying to amass the core curriculum, surely but slowly. I just finished art history and now Im taking French. Im intending to do English and Philosophy.
