FAMU, Clemson, UA

My plan is to major in Philosophy before continuing to law school. I’d like to go out of state for personal reasons. For financial reasons, I’m trying to decide on a school that participates in ACM

Due to a severe knee injury, I’ll be graduating a year late (2017 instead of 2016). I no longer attend a traditional public school either (Private school which has classes Mon through Thurs) My gpa is a 3.2 and my sat is 1950.

I am considering (in this order)

FAMU
Clemson
UA

Do I have a chance at any of these or should I look elsewhere?

Also, some of my family has a problem with my top choice being FAMU because they don’t want me to be a minority. What should I tell them to take my stand on the issue?

Is Philosophy one of the programs supported by ACM?

Clemson is a reach, due to your GPA. UA and FAMU are matches. You may qualify for merit scholarships at both Universities (note that some of the scholarships may require an unweighted GPA of 3.5+).

.

Thanks for the reply
