<p>Someone said something about not having window fans in GA. Is that true for all window fans or only the big box fans? What about needing rugs or extra lighting? Also, if anyone has other suggestions or info specific to GA, I would appreciate it. Thanks.</p>
<p>window fans… dont think they are allowed anywhere… but im not sure…</p>
<p>GA is completely carpeted, so you dont need to bring rug(s).</p>
<p>GA has an overhead light that is good for most things, but dont count on it to light up your desk.</p>
<p>GA rooms have a TON of closet space, complete with shelves at the top and everything. You can fit a huge amount of stuff in there, so if you are in doubt as to whether you should bring something, just bring it.</p>
<p>Window fans are allowed-confirmed by an RA in GA for this year.<br>

<p>His name is Jay Levin, and he mentions this in his most recent post on the main wall in this group:
“While window a/c units are prohibited, window fans are fine. I used one during my freshman year, and when used in combination with other fans, they can be quite potent cooling solutions.”</p>
