Fantasy dinner? Your five guests?

Mine would be eclectic

The ones I met before
Peter Drucker
George Will
Bill Clinton
Dubya

Plus Matt Lauer
:)

Actually I would have two more guests, but you might not recognize the names. They are professors.

I’d invite all the living presidents – George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama – and also Hillary Clinton (who very well may be our next president).

my mom, grandmom, great grandmom, great great grandmom and great great great grandmom!!!

My favorite historical figures: Nicholas II, last tsar of Russia and his wife, Alexandra Feodorovna; his uncle, Paul Alexandrovich, her sister, Ella and her brother Ernst Ludwig of Hesse-Darmstadt.

I would dearly love to have my mom back for one more dinner – and having HER mother, who I never met, and some other departed relatives – wow. I’ve recently been going through some stuff that I wish my mom was here to discuss it with. She’s been gone 22 years – 23 in January and I still miss her a lot. I know she’d love to see my babies grown up.

Charles Krauthammer, Napoleon Bonaparte, Marie Antoinette, Leo Da Vinci (first names of course), Ronald Regan

I guess my choices are a bit eclectic too: Eleanor Roosevelt, Indira Ghandi, Jesus, Florence Nightingale, Margaret Thatcher. mom from me, is there any reason you aren’t inviting Jimmy Carter :)

Charles Darwin, Stephen J Gould, Alfred Russel Wallace, Lynn Margulis, Barbara McClintock.

Margaret Sanger, Paul Farmer, Eleanor Roosevelt, Hillary Clinton, Richard Feynman

These are all people who did or are still trying to change the world in their own area of expertise.

Margaret Thatcher and B Obama and have a ball listenning to them talk.

Barak Obama, Ronald Regan, Jason Lewis (Mr. Right), Bill Maher, Jay Leno.

For the same reason, as MiamiDAP.

^Love your invitation list!!

Alrighty, my dinner is going to be a little more relaxed - and hopefully full of good conversation and some laughs:

Ellen Degeneres
Aaron Rodgers or Brett Favre (might not be a good idea to have both…)
Anderson Cooper
Luke or Manny from Modern Family (adding a mature “kid” to the mix is a MUST for me!!!)
Barack and Michelle Obama
(ok, technically 6 people…)

^^^ Who is Luke?

I’d have some of my favorite writers and scientists:
Lois McMasters Bujold
Brandon Sanderson
Beth Hilgartner
Oliver Sacks
Steven Block

Do you watch Modern Family??? Luke = Nolan Gould , Manny = Rico Rodriguez Both younger teens, but very funny, quite smart!

Elvis Presley, Elton John, Jodie Foster, Drew Barrymore and Ruth Gordon. For me it’s musical geniuses and brilliant women in film. (my list does actually include some brainiacs as well but I decided for my first dinner party I would stick with arty and contemporary)

My second dinner party I would invite Salvador Dali, Alexander McQueen, Helen Keller, Liberace and Charlie Chaplin.

A few years ago after watching the series, “Dinner for Five” I started putting my guest lists together, I have 50 of them (I was planning on having a dinner party a week for a year, with one large end of the year bash, where I invited them all plus one - I really wanted to see who THEY would invite!).

William F. Buckley, Julian Assange, Dalai Lama, Stephen Hawking and Warren Buffett.

My low brow, imaginary friends dinner party would include Sheldon Cooper, Kramer, Jerry Seinfeld, Barbara Jean (fom Reba) and Cam from Modern Family. Who cares what we’d eat…the laughs would be enough :)

^Stephen will live soon, he will get bored…
