Farrah has died

May she rest in peace.

Oh, no! I heard she was taken to a hospital a few days ago… So sad.

I just saw it on the web, and was about to start a thread.

I remember being 11 on the playground talking about the show, and every boy had the famous farrah bathing suit poster. As much as I think her son belongs in prison, I am so sad for him right now. Maybe this will make him realize that his drug abuse cost him the final moments with his mother that he will never get back.

May the family find peace.

She was SO popular when I was a senior in high school. I remember going to my boyfriend’s house and *Charlie’s Angels *was on. My BF’s grandma was there and said, “I just don’t like that Sarah Foster.”

She not only was a true Texas beauty but she was a fantastic actress as well. For those who only know her from “Charlie’s Angels” might I suggest that you rent “The Burning Bed” and “Extremities”…she really had some mean acting chops. I’m sorry she didn’t have more years to give us.

Yes, she was terrific in “The Burning Bed.” So sad she is gone.

It was so sad reading the stories of her illness, it sounds like she really suffered, hopefully she is at peace now.

In my one and only attempt at “idol emulation” I once had a Farrah 'do. Although I now look back at those pictures and cringe, I remember how good that hairstyle made me feel at the time. Thanks Farrah for helping me be a part of the “cool crowd”.

Ditto here. One of my graduation pictures proudly shows off my Farrah do. It took a while with a brush and a hair dryer but it looked great!

She was the original Charlie’s Angel. Most guys my age had a crush on her.

^^I read in an article about her years ago that when she was in college at the Univ. of Texas, long before she was famous, there were guys who used to gather along the route she walked to class. And they’d wait there just to watch her walk by.

Don’t forget “Small Sacrifices.” She and Ryan O’Neill were both in that. That’s a great book too BTW.

I was in grad school in 1977 and my 2 roommates and I dressed up and posed like the famous Charlie’s Angels poster, had a photo taken, and made a poster for our apartment.

She really battled bravely until the end.

Yes, I once had the “Farrah Flick” hairstyle. And with my poker straight hair, that was hard to do! May she RIP.
